WHAT TO DO AFTER AN EARTHQUAKE
If you feel an earthquake you should duck and cover. Do not to panic If you happen to be indoors during an earthquake, stay calm. Remember to stay away from glass, windows or anything that might fall, like a bookcase.

Check for trapped or injured people, and apply basic first aid.

Listen to a portable radio or television for news updates about affected areas, emergency crew notices, and available shelters.
prepare to sleep outside or make arrangements to leave the area if necessary. You probably will need to have these useful items:

-food.
-fresh water.
-medications.
-flashlights wth spare batteries.
-blankets.
-radio. (portable)
-and other useful equipment that may come in handy.
