What are heat waves:

Heat waves are days that are very humid days and is surrounded by hot air. It is from the sun and makes it hot.

What affects Heat Waves?

Heat waves also have other effects. They can cause losses of crops, kill animals and severely damage:
  • road and high ways
  • bridges
  • railway lines
  • electrical equipment

Heat Waves form when an air mass becomes stationary over a region. Hot Heat waves form when an air mass becomes stationary over a region. Hot humid air masses form hot dry air masses form. Heat Wave occurs when a high pressure system originating becomes stationary. The winds on the back side of the High continue to pump hot, humid resulting in a spell of hot and humid weather.
