Tornado information

A tornado is a violent, dangerous, swirling column of air which is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud. Tornadoes can travel at about 2 kilometres per second and tornadoes can last for about 5-15 minutes.

Tornadoes can throw a tree about 500 metres to 1 kilometre and they can throw a house about 300-500 metres from it's original spot. If a tornado comes it is best to stay away from it and if you do drive pass a tornado stay as fare away as possible.[[en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tornadoes| en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tornadoes]] http://www.nssl.noaa.gov/edu/safety/tornadoguide.html
